Excerpt from The Divine Vision of Radha Krishn

Summarizing the Philosophy
of Soul, Maya, God, the Blissful
Superiority of the Divine Abodes,
and the Fallacies that Block
the Path to Krishn.

Soul, maya and God.

The simultaneous mono-dualistic existence of various forms of God in a self-submissive nature is beyond the understanding of the material intellect, because the material world along with the mind is a product of maya, and God is Divine.

The maya physically exists as time and space energy and has ‘positive’ (sattva), ‘negative’ (tam), and ‘self attractive’ (raj) qualities seen in every aspect of material creation which develops a constant state of ‘motion’ and ‘change’ in a gradual degrading manner with its resultant ‘death’ that instantly promotes ‘rebirth’ to keep the situation even, and thus keeping the cycle of birth and death moving along with the ongoing movements of ‘time’ in its own endless ‘space.’ This is the theory and secret of material existence in a nutshell which modern physicists are still trying to probe.

It is true that God cannot be fully understood with material intellect , but it is also true that, according to the writings and the experiences of our great Masters, His Blissfulness, Kindness, Graciousness and the Blissful superiority of one ‘form’ to ‘another,’ can definitely be understood by a faithful aspirant of God’s love to an extent that he can surely proceed on his devotional path, and that is what we have described in this book.

It means that God has personal form and also a formless (nirakar) or impersonal form. The word moortam has come first which indicates the prominence of the personal form. The Gita further explains that the impersonal (nirakar) form is subordinately established in the personal form of God.

Vaishnav acharyas further expounded this theory and said that God has a power called jeev shakti which is nirakar (formless). All the souls (which are unlimited in number), either liberated ones or non-liberated ones, are part of the same jeev shakti. This is the ‘nirakar state where pure Divine souls of the gyani Saints remain. It is called the state of absolute liberation (kaivalya mokch) or total termination of the feeling of ‘self.’ This nirakar state is affiliated to nirakar (chid) brahm which is just a Divine existence. It does not have Divine virtues like Kindness and Graciousness, etc., that is why a gyani has to surrender to a personal form of God to receive liberation through His Grace. The Gita says that the path of gyan or nirakar brahm is extremely difficult and the path of devotion to a personal form of God is easy and simple .

The main personal forms of God are: Krishn, Ram, Vishnu, Shiv and Goddess Durga. Vishnu, Shiv and Durga’s Divine abode is called Vaikunth, Bhagwan Ram’s abode is Saket, and Bhagwan Krishn’s abode is Dwarika, Golok and Divine Vrindaban. The forms of Ganesh, Kartikeya, and Maha Kali are included in Shiv’s personality. Vishnu, Shiv and Durga, etc. are called the almighty forms of God. Krishn and Ram are the Divine love forms, whereas Krishn is the supreme form of Divine love and Radha is the life and Soul of Krishn. She is the Queen of Divine Vrindaban. That’s why all other forms of God and Goddess, subjectively or self-submissively, reside in the personality of Radha Krishn.

This secret has been revealed in the Gita in the verse,

That’s why the Devi Bhagwatam, the Bhagwatam, the Brahm Sanhita, Nimbarkacharya, Vallabhacharya, and the descension of Radha, Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and his disciples, and all the acharyas (great Masters) of Vrindaban have established this truth that the sweetness of the Divine love of Radha Krishn exceeds the blissfulness of all other forms of God, although the devotional limit of purifying the heart is the same for the attainment of any form of God. It is like a jeweler who says that everything in his shop costs $200 whether you buy a steel watch, or a gold watch, or even a Rolex diamond watch. It is your own free will whatever you choose, but the price is the same.

Divine is Divine, and the qualification for its attainment is the same, because every situation of the Divine realm is unlimited. Still there are qualitative differences in the exceeding lusciousness of the Divine Bliss which is experienced in the form of ever-new and ever-increasing sweetness of Radha Krishn love by all the Gopis and Brajwasis. There is nothing in the Divine world that could compare with the sweetness of the love of Radha Krishn.

General concept of God and His Divine abodes.

Nirakar brahm is also omnipresent and is affiliated to all the forms of God.

All the personal forms of God along with the impersonal aspect are equally omnipresent in the universe. All the forms of God are eternal and absolute. Their abodes are also eternal and absolute. The Divine name of God, His form, and His abode are all one. All forms of God have a particular style, taste and sweetness of unlimited Bliss so They have their own Divine dimension. Still They are all various forms of one single God, because “the absolute” cannot be divided. This is called “the simultaneous mono-dualistic existence of the Divine (God).” How does it exist, is beyond the intellectual comprehension of the material mind. But a soul, desiring God's vision, can faithfully adore any form of God.

The omnipresent Divine abodes, from Vaikunth to Divine Vrindaban, exist in their own Divine dimension. The sequence of abodes as illustrated above relates to their exceeding superiority of Divine Blissfulness where Vrindaban abode reveals the highest Blissful experience of the Divine realm.
