Shree Maharajji
the Divine Protector of
“Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat”
Bhakti Dham, Mangarh
Mangarh is a village in District Pratapgarh of
Uttar Pradesh. It is in the region of Avadh where Bhagwan Ram
appeared in Treta yug. With the descension of Jagadguru Shree
Kripaluji Maharaj Mangarh has become a place of pilgrimage.
Bhakti Dham (Mangarh), originally registered
as “Sadhana Bhawan Trust,” was founded and established by Shree
Maharajji himself in 1966. In 1970 the first satsang hall was
built. To accommodate the growing number of the devotees another
large satsang hall was built in 1996. There are also several
residential houses called Sadhak Nivas, having over two
hundred rooms for the devotees. Apart from that we have a large
dining hall and the general kitchen, a goshala for the cows,
and a beautiful
garden called Krishn Kunj. Amidst these
buildings, like a crown jewel, there exists the dwelling house of
Shree Maharajji, and behind that, in the open area of about 10 acres
of land, we are constructing the magnificent monumental building,
the janmsthan smarak. This is our Bhakti Dham where our
Maharajji appeared, lived, and is now freely distributing the Bliss
of Radha Krishn leelas to everyone coming to Mangarh, with an
open heart to receive his Grace and an open mind to conceive his
teachings.
Mangarh is situated 6 km from Harnamganj
Kunda. Public transport and ashram vehicles are available from
Kunda. There are three ways of reaching Kunda: 1. From Allahabad by
road (about one and quarter hours by taxi). 2. From Lucknow by road
(about three and a half hours by taxi). 3. From Kanpur by road
(about three and a half hours by taxi).
The Creation of Bhakti Mandir, Mangarh
Currently the construction of the magnificent
Divine monument, Bhakti Mandir is in progress at Bhakti Dham,
Mangarh. In the history of the world Bhakti Mandir will be such a
Divine monument that the devotees from every part of the world will
come to receive devotional and spiritual guidance and
inspiration.
Beautifully designed, double storied Bhakti Mandir will have its own uniqueness in many ways. All of its
columns and beams will be of first quality granite stone. Central dome
will be of exceptionally white Makrana marble with elegant carvings.
It will be colorfully lighted. Roof of the side wings will be of
pink granite with golden engraved work on it and the roof of the central
portion will be of Makrana marble with excellent carvings. Walls
will have beautiful inlay designs of semiprecious stones. All the
couplets of Bhakti Shatak will also be inlaid in blue stone and displayed
on the walls for the devotees as well as the scholars doing
Ph.D. or research work on the philosophy of
prasthan trayi. There are seven rooms on both sides of Bhakti
Mandir. The life history of Shree Chaitanya Mahaprabhuji and Shree
Maharajji will be portrayed and displayed in the style of a diorama
in a realistic manner. There will be one more very special feature
of Bhakti Dham that the deities of the eight personal aides (Asht
Mahasakhi) of Shree Raseshwari Radha Rani, which are not
represented anywhere in India according to the correct Divine
designations, will be established with full decorations. This
devotional feature would be greatly thrilling to all the devotees
and they will be engrossed in the bhakti of Radha Krishn
while visiting Bhakti Dham.
