For a devotee,
Guru Poornima
is one of the most auspicious occasions of the year. The Divine
celebration occurs on the full moon night during July. An historic
spiritual event took place on Guru Poornima of 2000 when Jagadguru
Shree Kripaluji Maharaj inaugurated Vishwa Kalyan Kendra in
Barsana, one of the largest and most beautiful satsang
halls in India. This magnificent monumental structure is part
of Rangeeli
Mahalashram which is situated on the outskirts of
Barsana village, overlooking the Radha Rani Temple. It was designed
and constructed with the effort and loving service of His Divinity
Swami Prakashanand Saraswati and dedicated to his supreme Spiritual
Master, Jagadguru Shree Kripaluji Maharaj.
During the inauguration celebrations thousands
of devotees from throughout India and around the world came
to Barsana to participate in the satsang of Shree Maharajji.
He Graced the audience with his amazing discourse, giving numerous
Sanskrit quotations and scriptural examples during his two hour
speech on the significance of Guru Poornima. Shree Maharajji
also Graciously revealed many charming new chantings describing
the beauty and love of Radha Krishn. On this occasion thousands
of Brajwasisadhus and sanyasis were served
a sumptuous vegetarian meal and each of them received gifts
of clothing, and dakshana (monetary offering) as a blessing
from Shree Maharajji.
Since then,
Guru Poornima
is celebrated each year at
Rangeeli
Mahal. Shree Maharajji stays in Rangeeli Mahal for about
two months and abundantly showers his Grace by continuous
satsang (which goes on from 4:30 am to 9:30 pm). Words cannot
explain it. You have to be there to experience the unequalled
Graciousness and the loving charm of Shree Maharajji’s supreme
Divinity.
Shree Maharajji celebrates
Janmashtmi and
Radha Ashtmi in
Rangeeli Mahal, Barsana. The spiritual benefits of such satsangs
with Shree Maharajji in the Divine atmosphere of Barsana are
beyond description.
