The 14th of January is a very significant day for
the devotees of Jagadguru Shree Kripaluji Maharaj, because on this
particular day (in 1957) our beloved Shree Maharajji was proclaimed
the supreme Jagadguru of this age. The word ‘guru’
means ‘the Spiritual Master,’ and ‘jagat’ means ‘the whole
world.’ Hence, ‘Jagadguru’ means ‘the Spiritual Master of the
entire world.’
