Krishn Janmashtmi Celebrations at JKP Ashrams in India
Thousands of devotees from neighboring districts took part in the grand Janmashtmi festival held on August 14th at Bhakti Dham, Mangarh, with Shree Maharajji’s Divine presence enlivening the occasion. Bhakti Mandir was elaborately decorated with displays of Shree Krishn’s appearance inside the shrine, and the exterior was lit with thousands of glittering lights.
On August 15th Shree Maharajji traveled to Rangeeli Mahal, Barsana, where Janmashtmi was again celebrated with great enthusiasm. Shree Maharajji cut Shree Krishn’s birthday cake and did the arti to Bal Krishn in the swinging cradle.
Gokul Ashtmi was celebrated in Shyama Shyam Dham as Shree Maharajji was in Vrindaban on August 16th, especially for the occasion. The JKP ashram has become famous for its animated display of Krishn’s appearance leela.
